Body weight is a measure of a person’s total muscle, bone and fat content. Body weight should always be in proportion with the height of a person so as to be considered healthy.

Another good weight loss program is to exercise on weight training machines like treadmills and stationary bikes. Most of these machines are available with several advanced features like speed adjustment and meters displaying total calorie burn-out. These machines are best for people who prefer working out at home.

Other weight loss exercises include cycling, jogging, swimming and horse-riding. Simple bending and stretching exercises also help in controlling weight.

Weight loss programs differ from person to person. However, it is important to have all the fitness exercises well-planned and regular.
